Ritu Phogat might be back in her homeland but that won’t stop her training. The rising atomweight star has been working out at Matrix MMA in Mumbai.

Ritu holds a record of 7-2 and five of those fights took place in 2021. After a very busy year she is probably taking a break from competitive fighting but the 27 year old is clearly keeping in shape.
There are three big atomweight fights coming up at ONE: ‘X’ with the likes of Seo Hee Ham, Denice Zamboanga, Alyse Anderson and Itsuki Hirata back in action. And, of course, the event is headlined by the title fight between Angela Lee and Stamp Fairtex.
Once that event is out the way we will have a much clearer idea of where everyone stands in the division. And Ritu, who is currently ranked #4, might have a clearer idea of who she will be fighting next!
