After fighting five times in 2021 Ritu Phogat is taking a well earned break. She is back in her home town of Balali where she has been reunited with two of her sisters.

The Phogat sisters put Balali on the map. It is a small village in Haryana, a state in the north of India which is probably overlooked by most tourists.
Ritu has an MMA record of 7-2. Despite suffering the first defeats of her career in 2021 she enhanced her reputation by reaching the final of the atomweight Grand Prix.
Although she was submitted by Stamp Fairtex at ONE: ‘Winter Warriors’ the Indian can be proud of the progress she has made. Phogat has barely been a professional for two years and has a bright future in the sport but for now we think she deserved a break!
