The Korean Zombie slams UFC 251 judging, wants a shot at Alex Volkanovski
On Sunday morning Alex Volkanovski claimed a split decision win over Max Holloway in their featherweight title rematch at UFC 251. The decision in Abu Dhabi raised a few eyebrows with Dana White openly criticizing the judges who scored the bout for the Australian.
Adding his voice to the dissent was #4 ranked featherweight Chan Sun Jung. The Korean Zombie took to Instagram to denounce Volkanovski and demand a title shot:

I am responding to yesterday’s title match against Volkanovski and Halloway. To be honest, it is shameful that Volkanovski is a champion of my weight class. Give him to me then you don’t need to worry about the judges decision. As you know, I won't let the judges decide the result of my fight. I will finish him at the title match and that is what UFC fans want to watch. @danawhite @ufc @espnmma @mmamania
The Korean Zombie had been expected to face off against Brian Ortega next. The two had originally been booked to fight at UFC Busan but the American withdrew due to injury and a war of words broke out in the aftermath.
Replacing Ortega was Frankie Edgar. The Korean Zombie needed less than a round to finish the former featherweight champion and score his second successive UFC win.
In eight UFC fights Jung has never been the distance. So when he states that ‘I won’t let the judges decide the result of my fight’ the Korean is probably making a fair point.
Whether it will be enough to persuade the UFC top brass to grant him an immediate title shot remains to be seen.
