Vitaly Bigdash is off the ONE on TNT Part IV card. He has been replaced by Reinier de Ridder who will face Aung La Nsang in a light heavyweight title fight.
The promotion broke the news on Twitter just now:
💥 WORLD CHAMPIONS COLLIDE 💥
Aung La N Sang will defend his light heavyweight crown against undefeated middleweight kingpin Reinier de Ridder in the main event of ONE on TNT IV!👑 @AungLANsang @tntdrama @BleacherReport @BR_MMA @brlive #WeAreONE #ONEChampionship #ONEonTNT4 pic.twitter.com/F0QjXIlvPg— ONE Championship (@ONEChampionship) April 24, 2021
La Nsang (26-11-0-1) is the reigning light heavyweight champion while de Ridder (13-0) holds the middleweight belt. The two men met at ONE: ‘Inside the Matrix’ last year with the Dutchman prevailing by way of first round submission.
La Nsang had originally been training for a middleweight non title fight with Bigdash. It is not clear whether De Ridder already had a fight booked next week.
As previously announced Eddie Alvarez will face Ok Rae Yoon at ONE on TNT Part IV next week. The Korean earned a shot at the former UFC and Bellator lightweight champion with a win over Marat Gafurov this morning.
Sage Northcutt won’t be on the ONE on TNT Part IV card. The UFC veteran will be replaced by Eduard Folayang who meets Shinya Aoki for the third time in a lightweight bout.
Oumar Kane has been matched with Kirill Grishenko in a heavyweight fight. Also on the card is a strawweight Muay Thai bout pitting Jackie Buntan against Ekaterina Vandaryeva. The American is coming off an impressive stoppage win over Wondergirl Fairtex at ONE: ‘Fists of Fury’.
Sovannahry Em is now longer on the card so Colbey Northcutt has been handed a different opponent. The American will now be facing GAMMA bantamweight champion Courtney Martin who makes her pro debut.
