Avatar Tor Morsi faced Wanchalerm Pakyok PK in the main event of the latest Road to ONE Thailand card. The action took place at the famous Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok in the second installment of this weekly event.
Avatar and Wanchalerm were both looking to secure a spot in the semi finals of the featherweight tournament. The latter came into the contest with the better pedigree having competed at the top level in the stadiums and faced the likes of Singdam Kiatmoo9, Petboonchu FA Group and Saketdao Petpayathai.
This was the second fight between the two with Avatar beating Wanchalerm by decision in 2016. He made the faster start, landing with some solid punches early on.
Wanchalerm looked to keep the fight at distance a little more in the opening round and use his range and knees but both fighters traded hard elbows towards the end of the round.

Wanchalerm looked the busier of the two in the second round and pushed forward opening up with punches kicks and knees. Avatar sat back more, but landed with some heavy punches and elbows and knees through the middle.
In the final round Wanchalerm came out swinging, looking to turn the fight around with some heavy punches. Avatar was able to make him miss and tie him up in the clinch.
Wanchalerm looked like he was getting back into the fight in the middle of the round, but Avatar opened up with a few hard barrages of punches and finished the stronger, taking the decision win and moving into the semi-final.

Thai Sor Jor Piek Uthai faced Moradotphet Petchyindee for a place in the Flyweight semi-finals. The latter is the younger brother of current ONE Championship star Kulabdam and showed similar power to his big brother, finishing the fight with a devastating uppercut in the second round.
In the atomweight tournament when Celeste Hansen faced Phetsinin Sor Phuangthong. The Australian scored multiple knockdowns before finishing the fight late in the second round to book her spot in the semi final.
