Monster War 1 is set for Paju on May 1st. The event will be headlined by a heavyweight fight between Jun Soo Lim and Ik Tae Jin.
Lim (12-12) is a seasoned veteran who made his pro debut in 2005. The 38 year old will be looking to snap a three fight losing streak and score his first win since 2017.
Jin (2-2) was last seen in action at Road FC 55. The 28 year old is coming off a split decision loss to Il Hak Oh in 2019.
In the co-main event Dong Gyu Kim (8-3) has been matched with Han Kil Choi (3-2) in a bantamweight bout. The former has won four out of his last five while the latter is coming off a victory at Zeus FC 3.
At welterweight Sung Chan Hong (6-1) has been matched with Jong Hwan Lee (1-1). The former is a Korean Top Team representative who has been out of action since 2017 and will be looking to resurrect his MMA career here.
Monster War 1 is being promoted by the people behind The Beast Championship which held its inaugural event, TBC 1, in January.
