Another fight has been added to the Rizin 24 card. Kenta Takizawa faces Yuto Hokamura in a bantamweight bout at the Saitama Super Arena on Sunday.

Takizawa (10-5) has been rumoured to be joining Rizin for several weeks. He challenged for the bantamweight title at Pancrase 303 last year, getting submitted by Rafael Silva in the opening round.

Hokamura (13-8) also came up short in a title shot against Silva. He was submitted by the Brazilian in the second round at Pancrase 307 last year but is coming off a win over Kenji Kato at Rizin 21.

As previously announced kickboxing superstar Tenshin Nasukawa will make his return to Rizin against former K-1 fighter Koji Tanaka on September 27th. The fight is set for a catchweight of 55kgs.

Bantamweight champion Kai Asakura faces Shoji Maruyama in a non title bout. Meanwhile Rena Kubota goes up against veteran Emi Tomimatsu in a strawweight contest.

The card will also feature a lightweight bout pitting Takasuke Kume against Satoru Kitaoka. Also in the lightweight division Yusuke Yachi faces Juri Ohara.

The Saitama Super Arena will not be filled to capacity due to Covid-19 concerns. The audience is capped at 5,000 and the tickets have already sold out.
