ONE Championship’s epic signing spree continues with four more top kickboxers putting pen to paper. While events are on hold the promotion has been aggressively recruiting fighters with Jonay Risco, Ismael Londt, Bogdan Stoica and Guto Inocente all signing contracts.

Risco is a highly decorated striker who has won the Enfusion, ISKA, and WFCA titles competing at both 70 and 72.5kgs. The Spaniard joins new signings Davit Kiria and Sittichai Sitsongpeenong in the featherweight division.

Londt is the reigning Superkombat heavyweight champion. The Dutchman has been in with the likes of Anderson Silva, Badr Hari, Mirko Crocop and Rico Verhoeven.

Stoica is the reigning Enfusion light heavyweight champion. His brother Andre is one of the top fighters in that division for ONE Championship and has been promised a title shot.

Inocente is the latest addition from Glory. The Brazilian challenged for the promotion’s heavyweight title in 2018 but dropped a decision to Rico Verhoeven.

While ONE Championship has also signed up mixed martial artists like Tom DeBlass and Ko Hyun Woo in recent days the spate of signings from the kickboxing world has raised eyebrows. There are rumours of another K-1 Max style tournament in the featherweight division.

Last year Giorgio Petrosyan won the inaugural featherweight Grand Prix. Since then the division has been strengthened with the arrival of several fighters including Superbon Banchamek, Sittichai and Kiria.

There have also been several signings in the higher weight classes including John Wayne Parr. Once the coronavirus, or Covid-19, crisis eases the promotion looks set to put on a lot of kickboxing bouts.
