Four fights have been confirmed for Pancrase 317 including a rearranged flyweight bout between Ryuichi Miki and Yusuke Ogikubo. The event is set for Shinkiba Studio Coast on August 23rd.
Miki ( 21-12-4) is currently #3 in the promotion’s flyweight rankings. He is coming off back to back wins over Manabu Inoue at Pancrase 306 and Masatatsu Ueda at Pancrase 311.
Ogikubo (11-10) is the #10 ranked flyweight. He is coming off back to back losses, dropping decisions to Bokang Masunyane at Pancrase 307 and Satoru Enomoto at Pancrase 312.
All the fights currently on the card were originally set for Pancrase 315 including a lightweight fight between Kosuke Kindaichi (9-2-2) and Sung Kwon Kim (4-5). The Japanese fighter is riding a five fight winning streak that culminated in a stoppage win over Takashi Matsuoka at Pancrase 301.
In the strawweight division Hiroaki Ijima (12-13-3) faces Yuta Miyazawa (7-3). The former made his pro debut in 2008 and has lost his last three while the latter saw a three fight winning streak snapped by Toshiya Takashima at Pancrase 312.
Pancrase 316 is set for the same venue on July 5th. It will be headlined by a lightweight fight between Yusuke Kasuya and Hiroto Uesako.
