ONE: ‘A New Breed’ is set for Impact Arena next Friday. It will be the fourth consecutive card the promotion has held in Bangkok and will be headlined by an atomweight Muay Thai title fight between champion Stamp Fairtex and challenger Allycia Rodrigues.

Stamp has competed in kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA for ONE Championship. Since the promotion started putting on events again after lockdown she has already won one fight in the latter.

Across all disciplines Stamp has fought nine times for ONE Championship, winning eight of those bouts.  This will be the second defence of the Muay Thai title she won last year.

Rodrigues is a promotional newcomer. The Brazilian is based in Thailand and trains at Phuket Fight Club which has produced elite level Muay Thai fighters like Julio Lobo.

Last November Rodrigues stopped Thananchanok Kaewsamrit to win the Queens of the Ring flyweight tournament. She picked up 50,000 baht in prize money, a significant sum for female fighters in Thailand.

The other Muay Thai fight announced for the card is the final of the Bantamweight Grand Prix. Kulabdam SorJorPiekUThai booked his spot with a sensational knockout of Sangmanee Sathiangym at ONE: ‘No Surrender’ Part III.

Unfortunately Saemapetch Fairtex sustained an injury in his semi final win. Rodlek PKSaenchaigym, who he beat by decision at ONE: ‘No Surrender’ Part II, has been reinstated in the tournament and will face Kulabdam on Friday.
