Two experienced bantamweights will face off at Pancrase 317. Takeshi Kasugai has been booked to face Toshinori Tsunemura at Shinkiba Studio Coast on August 23rd.

Kasugai (25-7-1-1) dropped a decision to Alan Yoshihiro Yamaniha at Pancrase 309 last year. But he did enjoy some success in 2019, winning three fights out of four and earning the right to call himself the Deep bantamweight champion.

Tsunemura (14-10-4) is coming off back to back defeats at Pancrase 307 and Pancrase 304. He challenged unsuccessfully for the Deep bantamweight title in 2014.

Three fights have already been confirmed for Pancrase 317 including a rearranged flyweight bout between Ryuichi Miki and Yusuke Ogikubo. That is one of several matches that have been moved from the cancelled Pancrase 315 card.

Among them is a lightweight match between Kosuke Kindaichi and Sung Kwon Kim. Meanwhile in the strawweight division Hiroaki Ijima faces Yuta Miyazawa

Pancrase 316 is set for the same venue on July 24th. It will be headlined by a lightweight fight between Yusuke Kasuya and Hiroto Uesako.
