Road FC 58 is set for in Changwon on July 3rd. There are currently three fights on the card with a middleweight but between Won Jun Choi and Dong Hwan Lim the latest matchup to be announced.
Choi (4-4) won six fights out of six for Road FC as an amateur. But since turning pro with the promotion he has had more mixed fortunes, winning four of his eight fights.
Heh as been in with some high level opponents during this period. Choi remains the only fighter to have ever beaten In Soo Hwang, he knocked him out at Road FC 54, and one of his losses came at the hands of current UFC star Michel Pereira at Road FC 51.
Lim (3-4) has a similar record and like Choi he has has been in with some big names. Two of his losses came at the hands of former middleweight champions, he was submitted by Hae Jun Yang at Road FC 52 and dropped a decision to In Jae La at Road FC 46.
As previously announced a middleweight title fight headlines the Road FC 58 card. The vacant belt will be on the line when In Soo Hwang faces Il Hak Oh in Changwon on July 3rd.
Road FC 58 will also feature an openweight bout pitting Geum Kwang San against Jae Hoon Kim. The former is a 44 year old actor who will be making his MMA debut while the latter has fought four times for the promotion but been stopped om every single occasion.
Road FC 57 took place in December 2019. The promotion subsequently launched ARC with slightly modified MMA rules and has put on four of these cards.
