With just two weeks until New Year’s Eve the Rizin 33 card is slowly coming together. A catchweight contest between Rena Kubota and Si Woo Park is the latest fight to be announced.

Rena (12-3) comes into this contest on the back of a four fight winning streak. The Shoot Boxing veteran appears to be on the cusp of securing a shot at the super atomweight title.

Park (5-4) will be making her Rizin debut. The Korean is coming off back to back defeats heading into this contest which is set for 50kgs, slightly above the super atomweight limit.

As previously announced Japanese based Brazilian Roberto de Souza will defend his lightweight title against Yusuke Yachi at Rizin 33. The card will consist exclusively of local fighters due to ongoing travel restrictions.

In the super atomweight division champion Ayaka Hamasaki faces Seika Izawa in a non title fight. The bantamweight Grand Prix will conclude at Rizin 33.
