ONE: ‘Heart of Heroes’ is set for Ho Chi Minh City on March 20th and will consist exclusively of Muay Thai and kickboxing matches. The full fight card was released this week and it sees Vietnamese born mixed martial artist Bi Nguyen return to action.
Nguyen has been matched with promotional newcomer Rudzma Abubakar who hails from the Philippines. The two will face off in an atomweight Muay Thai contest.
Meanwhile two featherweight kickboxers will be looking to underline their title credentials. Enriko Kehl and Yohann Drai both have the opportunity to bounce back from ONE Super Series losses.
The card is set for the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium. So far there has been no word on whether it will be open to the general public, with the recent ONE: ‘King of the Jungle’ event in Singapore taking place behind closed doors due to concerns about the coronavirus.
As previously announced two bantamweight champions will do battle at ONE: ‘Heart of Heroes’. Alaverdi Ramazanov is putting his kickboxing belt on the line against reigning Muay Thai champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao in Ho Chi Minh City.
The other title fight features two promotional newcomers. The inaugural strawweight Muay Thai title will be on the line when Victoria Lipianska takes on Iman Barlow.
Barlow is the latest in a long line of English Muay Thai fighters to sign with ONE Championship. She joins Jonathan Haggerty, Liam Harrison and Andy Howson on the roster.
