ARC 5 is set for Seoul on June 12th. The first fight on the card is a catchweight contest set for 60kgs with Jung Hyun Lee facing off against Jo Min Su.
Lee (3-0) has emerged as one of Korea’s brightest prospects with three wins out of three for the spinoff promotion launched by Road FC last year. At ARC 1 he stopped Dong Hyuk Ko, at ARC 2 he scored a decision win over the experienced Jae Nam Yoo and at ARC 4 he knocked out Jin Woo Park.
While his results have been impressive the teenager has yet to face an opponent with a winning record. In that sense this match represents a small step up for Lee, who also has extensive amateur experience.
Su (1-0) made his pro debut at Zeus FC 4 last year. He stopped fellow newcomer Byung Kwon Choi late in the first round and will be looking to pull off the upset at ARC 5.
The Korean promotion is ramping up its 2021 schedule. Road FC 58 is set for in Changwon on July 3rd, Road FC 59 takes place in Wonju on September 4th and Road FC 60 will be in Seoul in December.
