ONE: ‘Inside the Matrix’ looks set to be the promotion’s biggest event of the year and the fight card is complete with six bouts. The event will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 30th with no live audience in attendance.
The final matchup to be announced is an atomweight affair pitting Ritu Phogat (2-0) against Nou Srey Pov (1-1). Both made their ONE Championship debut last year.
Phogat is coming off a decision win over Chiao Chen Wu at ONE: ‘King of the Jungle’. Pov also went the distance in her last bout but was outpointed by the experienced Priscilla Gaol at ONE: ‘For Honor’.
As revealed by Chatri Sityodtong last week the card will also feature a lightweight bout between Eduard Folayang (22-9) and Antonio Caruso (7-1). Both men will be looking to bounce back from decision defeats.
As previously announced four title fights have been confirmed for ONE: ‘Inside the Matrix’. The event will feature a middleweight contest between champion Aung La Nsang and undefeated challenger Reinier de Ridder.
Another undefeated contender will be in action when Christian Lee makes the first defence of his lightweight title against Iuri Lapicus. Martin Nguyen will put his featherweight title on the line against Thanh Le in a bout between two striking specialists with roots in Vietnam.
Meanwhile strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan (14-2) will face Tiffany Teo (10-1) in a rematch. She stopped the Singaporean in the fourth round in 2002.
